Charming townhouse with nice plot and a big roofterrace in Torrevieja. This townhouse has a big corner plot that gives you the possibility to enjoy both sun and shade. On the ground floor we have a big sized living room, bathroom with shower, kitchen with dining space and a little storage room. On the first floor there is one bathroom, two medium sized bedrooms and a big bedroom with an access to a really big balcony. On the top of the property you'll find a really nice roof terrace and a little office that can be used as a storage room if wanted. Torrevieja is a coastal city located in the southeastern part of Spain, specifically in the province of Alicante, in the Valencian Community. It is situated on the Costa Blanca, along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. As of my last update in September 2021, here are some key features and characteristics of Torrevieja: Beaches: Torrevieja is renowned for its beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters. Some of the popular beaches in the area include Playa del Cura, Playa de Los Locos, and Playa de La Mata. Salt Lakes: The city is surrounded by two large saltwater lakes, known as the "Salinas de Torrevieja." These salt lakes are natural reserves and contribute to the unique microclimate of the area, which is believed to be beneficial for health conditions such as respiratory problems and arthritis. Tourism: Torrevieja attracts a significant number of tourists, particularly during the summer months, due to its pleasant weather, beaches, and vibrant nightlife. Many visitors come from northern European countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, and Scandinavia. Expatriate Community: The city has a substantial expatriate community, with many foreigners, especially from the UK, Germany, and other European countries, owning properties and residing in the area, either permanently or seasonally. Salt Production: Historically, salt production has been an essential industry for Torrevieja. The city's name itself translates to "Old Tower," referring to an ancient watchtower that was once used to monitor the salt trade. Cultural Events: Torrevieja hosts various cultural events and festivals throughout the year, showcasing traditional Spanish customs and festivities. Nautical Activities: Given its coastal location, Torrevieja offers a range of nautical activities, including sailing, fishing, and water sports.
